An Australian National Police Check only covers offences recorded in Australia. If a candidate has lived or worked overseas in recent years, an International Police Check closes that gap. CV Screen coordinates the request with the relevant overseas authority, tracks turnaround, and verifies the certificate once issued. The applicant personally authenticates the request themselves, this is a legal requirement in most jurisdictions and cannot be completed on their behalf. This check will confirm the following:

• Country of issue
• Outcome of the check (issued or not issued)
• Date of issue
• Full name and alias of applicant
• Reference number of the certificate

Note: Processing times are set by the issuing country’s authority and can take several weeks. CV Screen will confirm an expected timeframe once the applicant’s country is known.
